I'm guessing this is everything that has been going on through your mind. If so, then I am glad, because we have something in common. I used to think like you. I know exactly how you feel. In fact, this season that you are in is great, because the problem you are having is getting agitated and making you search for the "right thing", that thing that will just "CLICK". This is a special moment it makes the journey all worth while.
OK, I won't take up too much of your time, so I am going to share what worked for my wife and I. Mind you we are only 22 and 21 years old. To some we are just "kids" (I hate that term) but one thing is for sure, we are young. So, if we are doing it, SO CAN YOU.
PAY CLOSE ATTENTION
1. MAKE A PLAN
Now you may have heard this before and of course it makes sense, but hold on, this is key. Have you thought about:
What you wanted? Why you wanted it? How soon you wanted it? What you will do when you have what you want? Who you will be sharing it with?
The questions can go on, but seriously you need VISION and write it down so you really start taking it seriously if you haven't done so already.
Habakkuk 2:2 "Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it."
2. TAKE ACTION
Again, this may all sound familiar but I am just warming up. Pay close attention. Once you have a plan DO SOMETHING! Move and keep Moving. Get results and do not relax. HOW BAD DO YOU WANT IT? The answer should be, "As bad as I want to breathe". Now, Let's Go. Biggest deception is to be busy. That is the last thing you need to do. If you wrote the plan clearly then this shouldn't happen. Do not engage in anything that is not in direction towards your vision.
2 Thessalonians 3: 10b-11 "If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat. For we hear that some among you walk in idleness, not busy at work, but busybodies."
3. GIVE
This may sound unique in this context, but the concept I am sure you have heard of. This is probably the most important one because it's what sustains your growth. My wife and I really applied this principle and the results quantified!!! My father in law shared this concept with me. He said, "How do you know if a bird is truly yours?" I didn't know the answer to that, maybe you are smarter and can answer lol. He said, "By letting it go. If it comes back it is truly yours."
This applies with Money too. You want more,give it away, I promise it will come back.
2 Corinthians 9:6 "the point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully."
